Hello Bondi Band Review & Giveaway!! Ends 3/14 ♥

No girl likes sweat running down her forehead, right? Well, at least I know I don’t! I work out everyday for at LEAST 30 minutes on the elliptical trainer. I also count the Xbox Kinect as exercise, that thing is a serious work out! In the summer, I spend a lot of time outdoors, mountain biking and hiking. Unfortunately, it’s still ice cold here in Maryland so I had to try this cute product inside.

It is called Bondi Band. On their Facebook page they explain “The simple premise of Bondi Bands is to offer comfy, colorful, and creative headbands to fit every lifestyle and personality. By using stretchy and breathable material, we allow Bondi Bands to fit virtually every head size comfortably and fashionably.”

The first step of doing the review, was picking a headband from the site. They have tons of pages of colors/patterns to choose from! It took me forever to decide on just one! The next step, was getting it in the mail. When I took the product out of the bag, I knew I already loved it.  I picked the Ms.Daisy pattern. The headband was made of a swimsuit-like material. It was really soft very stretchy!

Now it was time to try it out. It is a pretty wide head band so it covered the top part of my forehead (to keep sweat out of my face) and it covered my bangs (to keep them out of my face). I did an hour on the elliptical to make sure I was sweating enough…and I was. The Bondiband did just what it claims. It was comfortable, kept the sweat away AND kept my hair out of my face….plus, it’s cute!

The BEST part, aside from all of the awesome colors/patterns to choose from…is the Bondi Band headbands are only $8 a piece!  You can buy them (and other Bondi Band products) at their WESBITE.

Skoy Cloth Review & Giveaway! Ends 3/13

I don’t know about you…but I love when I can do something to help someone out, or to help out our planet. I love being “eco-friendly” and I am proud of it! A company called Skoy Cloths allowed me to participate in a review, and I couldn’t be happier about it!

Click n Cook Review

I was recently given the opportunity to review a very unique kitchen gadget called the Click n Cook. Right away, I knew it was something I could use. The description for the product is “Click n Cook is a modular spatula system that keeps all your essential utensils in one easy place. Just snap the spatula attachment into the handle and release with a click of a button.”

It did just that. The drawer I keep tongs, spatulas and knives in was pretty full. We use spatulas a lot in our household, so it makes more sense to have them on the counter. Touching drawers less while cooking is a bonus as well, ichy germs! It look me a little to get used to the idea of not opening a drawer to get to my spatulas, but I quickly got used to it.

In my first few times of using it, I took some time to put together a pros and con list..

PROS:

Keeps clutter down in drawers.

Keeps from having to touch kitchen knobs while cooking, less washing of hands needed!

Shoots the attachment off the end very easily for cleaning.

Easily color coded so you know which piece you are grabbing.

Includes all of the attachments I could need!

CONS:

The base seems to be a bit light, making it tip when pushing the handle into the attachment.

I had difficulty getting the handle to “click” into place when attaching.

It was on an odd angle for being on a counter, maybe a wall mount would be better.

It would be nice to see a variety of color options; stainless, solid black, etc.

Overall, I liked the product. It may need a few tweaks here and there, but it did its job! I love to have a new “it” products and this is definitely one of them. Manda ♥'s Motorcycles!

When I met Steve over 4 years ago, I was also introduced to motorcycles. It was instant love. I love everything about them! Well, along with loving motorcycles, I also love motorcycle shows. I am a HUGE fan of a show on FX called Sons Of Anarchy. It is about a motorcycle club in California. I have watched every episode of the first 3 seasons...and now I am waiting for season 4 to start!

Last weekend, there was a Bike Show in Timonium, MD. Of course, I had to go. When we got there I realized the guys from Sons of Anarchy were there and you could get autographs/pictures with them! I was like a little kid. You had to wait in separate lines for each of the different actors (each line was at least a 2 hour wait). I stood there trying to choose which one I wanted to wait for while my boyfriend wandered around. Little did I know...he was busy getting us VIP passes to meet them ALL and get a GROUP shot with all of them. I was SO excited. No one else was able to get ALL of them in one shot! Here are our pics...

This is was such a cool experience. Needless to say, I am def crushing on the guys now :) Poor Steve had no idea what he was getting himself into by letting me meet them! But hey, if Jessica Alba ever comes to MD, I will do the same for him!

Sometimes small events like this just make your day...week...month, ever your year! So why not blog about it? :) Just a thought!

Huggerz Review & Giveaway! Ends 3/7/11

Everyone has a favorite pair of shoes. Mine, happens to be my Bearpaws. They are a pair of brown Ugg- type boots that I wear everyday during the winter! Because I wear them everyday, I was SO excited to hear of a company called Huggerz.

Here is the main jist of the product…it is a sleeve that fits over the top part of Ugg type boots. They are available in all sorts of patterns and fur styles. You can give your boot a whole new look without having to by a multiple pairs.

I love this product. I think it is SO fun and perfect for any age or style. Brilliant Screen Cleaning Wipes Giveaway!- CLOSED

As some of you know, I love my gadgets. I have several iPods, and one if an iTouch. My boss and I also share an iPad for work. For anyone who uses products like these, or any touchscreen, you know about annoying fingerprints. I was happy to be able to review a product called Brilliant Screen Cleaning Wipes.

I was able to use these on both the iTouch and the iPad. I was pleasantly surprised. One wipe down, and it was clean and clear. Before I used these wipes, I was constantly having to wipe and re-wipe the screen down. Not only did it remove the smudges, but I noticed that it prevented them as well.

Each of the packages contains 2 wipes, a wet wipe and a dry wipe. I really loved this product and I am so happy I finally found something to keep my screens clean! …Now if only I could get my own touchscreen phone to use them on!

It is winter so my elbows and shins get really dry. The Udder Cream is a thicker lotion, which I loved. I would then apply the Moisturizing Lotion to the rest of my body. I made sure to cover legs, arms and even my face. The lotions aren’t greasy so I was happy to be able to do that!

Finally, my favorite part…the Udderly Smooth Foot Cream. This is my new best friend. The foot cream is a really nice thick lotion with a slight scent. For this cream I did something a bit different. I loaded my feet up with it before bed, and slept with socks on. Yes, the socks were a tad soggy by morning…but me feet feel awesome!
