LuvEssentials Review!

One of the reasons that I love blogging and doing reviews…is the fun and crazy products I get to learn about!  I was happy to be able to work with a company called LuvEssentials. They sell Pheromones to attract the opposite sex. I had vaguely heard about products like this before and I was excited to be able to learn more.  They sent me one bottle each of unscented "Max Attraction”, scented "Max Attraction SILK, "Scent of Eros" and "Luscious Lips" and I couldn’t wait for them to arrive. I couldn’t wait to see how this worked! 

 

I got the package within a few days, and instantly started reading the bottles. I put on the Silk perfume as directed, one spray on the outer layer of my clothes. First impression, it smelled good. Even without the pheromones being involved, the fragrance smelled good enough that I would buy it again! Now, for my fiancé to get home from work!

 

When he walked in the door, he gave me my hug as usual and said, “Mmm you smell nice”. I didn’t tell him about the review or the product prior to him coming home. The rest of the night went well and needless to say…I kind of think it worked! I can’t be sure that it was the pheromones, or just that he liked the fragrance….but he certainly liked it!

I also wear the Max Attraction Unscented occasionally. It comes in a small blue bottle with an eye dropper in it. You put a few drops on your wrists or behind your ears. It almost smells a bit like alcohol until you put it on. After its on, it doesn’t smell like a thing.

 

The Scent of Eros is nice because it is a really tiny bottle that rolls onto your skin. Great for keeping in your purse when you go out!

Country Bob's Review & Giveaway!

I am so excited to post this new review and giveaway! I had the opportunity to review a product called Country Bobs All Purpose Sauce.  I have to say, shipping was very quick and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it! We love condiments in our household, so I already had high hopes for Country Bob’s.  When it came, my boyfriend picked it up and read the bottle and said, “All purpose sauce, let’s try it on everything.” So we did. 

That night, we had steak and fries for dinner.  We each put a pile of Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce on our plates and dug in….we loved it! I don’t typically like sauce on my steak, but this was much sweeter tasting than something like A1, which I liked. So, it went on my fries…and I liked that too! I would like to be able to compare it to another type of sauce, but I can’t put my finger on it. It was sweeter than A1, smokier than BBQ sauce, but it was definitely yummy.

A few nights later, I came home to burgers on the grill. Steve had decided to mix in Country Bob’s Sauce into the burgers. After dinner, it was actually kind of funny thinking, “what is this stuff NOT good on?”

Since then we have also used the sauce to marinate chicken and he put it on his grilled chicken wraps. It’s so nice when you find something as simple as a good sauce. Obol Giveaway! -No More Soggy Cereal- Ends 3/26

Good-bye soggy cereal, HELLO OBOL! I’m a multi-tasker who also hates soggy cereal. The two things don’t go well together if you are talking about breakfast time. I got the product almost 2 weeks ago, and I LOVE IT! I realized it can be used for more than just cereal. It worked SO well every time!  I loved it with my ice cream because I like banana in every bit of my ice cream. I kept the bananas on the top and slid more down as I needed them. Aside from it working so well, the other bonuses are the shape of it, the fact that it is so durable and it’s easy to clean. The bowl is a little large so we have to keep it on a different shelf than our other bowls (but that’s okay with me!).

Save Your Phone With CleverWraps!

I love gadgets. And I love my phone. I was happy when I found out about a company called Clever Wraps. I spend a lot of time at the beach in the summer, and we usually get a ton of snow in the winter. These things are really going to come in handy.

Hello Bondi Band Review & Giveaway!! Ends 3/14 ♥

No girl likes sweat running down her forehead, right? Well, at least I know I don’t! I work out everyday for at LEAST 30 minutes on the elliptical trainer. I also count the Xbox Kinect as exercise, that thing is a serious work out! In the summer, I spend a lot of time outdoors, mountain biking and hiking. Unfortunately, it’s still ice cold here in Maryland so I had to try this cute product inside.

It is called Bondi Band. On their Facebook page they explain “The simple premise of Bondi Bands is to offer comfy, colorful, and creative headbands to fit every lifestyle and personality. By using stretchy and breathable material, we allow Bondi Bands to fit virtually every head size comfortably and fashionably.”

The first step of doing the review, was picking a headband from the site. They have tons of pages of colors/patterns to choose from! It took me forever to decide on just one! The next step, was getting it in the mail. When I took the product out of the bag, I knew I already loved it.  I picked the Ms.Daisy pattern. The headband was made of a swimsuit-like material. It was really soft very stretchy!

Now it was time to try it out. It is a pretty wide head band so it covered the top part of my forehead (to keep sweat out of my face) and it covered my bangs (to keep them out of my face). I did an hour on the elliptical to make sure I was sweating enough…and I was. The Bondiband did just what it claims. It was comfortable, kept the sweat away AND kept my hair out of my face….plus, it’s cute!

The BEST part, aside from all of the awesome colors/patterns to choose from…is the Bondi Band headbands are only $8 a piece!  You can buy them (and other Bondi Band products) at their WESBITE.

I don’t know about you…but I love when I can do something to help someone out, or to help out our planet. I love being “eco-friendly” and I am proud of it! A company called Skoy Cloths allowed me to participate in a review, and I couldn’t be happier about it!

My brother recently bought his own first house, and it needed lots of work! Unfortunately, they meant using and wasting lots of paper towels! I received my 4 pack of Skoy Cloths in the mail just in time. I love them. They are 100% biodegradable and re-useable.

Click n Cook Review

I was recently given the opportunity to review a very unique kitchen gadget called the Click n Cook. Right away, I knew it was something I could use. The description for the product is “Click n Cook is a modular spatula system that keeps all your essential utensils in one easy place. Just snap the spatula attachment into the handle and release with a click of a button.”

It did just that. The drawer I keep tongs, spatulas and knives in was pretty full. We use spatulas a lot in our household, so it makes more sense to have them on the counter. Touching drawers less while cooking is a bonus as well, ichy germs! It look me a little to get used to the idea of not opening a drawer to get to my spatulas, but I quickly got used to it.

In my first few times of using it, I took some time to put together a pros and con list..

PROS:

Keeps clutter down in drawers.

Keeps from having to touch kitchen knobs while cooking, less washing of hands needed!

Shoots the attachment off the end very easily for cleaning.

Easily color coded so you know which piece you are grabbing.

Includes all of the attachments I could need!

CONS:

The base seems to be a bit light, making it tip when pushing the handle into the attachment.

I had difficulty getting the handle to “click” into place when attaching.

It was on an odd angle for being on a counter, maybe a wall mount would be better.

It would be nice to see a variety of color options; stainless, solid black, etc.

Overall, I liked the product. It may need a few tweaks here and there, but it did its job! I love to have a new “it” products and this is definitely one of them. Everyone has a favorite pair of shoes. Mine, happens to be my Bearpaws. They are a pair of brown Ugg- type boots that I wear everyday during the winter! Because I wear them everyday, I was SO excited to hear of a company called Huggerz.

Here is the main jist of the product…it is a sleeve that fits over the top part of Ugg type boots. They are available in all sorts of patterns and fur styles. You can give your boot a whole new look without having to by a multiple pairs.

I love this product. I think it is SO fun and perfect for any age or style. Udderly Smooth Review & GIVEAWAY! CLOSED

Udderly Smooth is a company that offers great quality lotions and creams. It is a greaseless, stainless water-based moisturizer with a light fresh fragrance. I was a little hesitant to try the product once I learned that the product was originally developed for use on dairy cows, but I love it. I received Foot Cream with Shea Butter, Udder Cream and Moisturizing Lotion. Here is how I used each: When I got out of the shower, I applied the Udder Cream on my problem spots. It is winter so my elbows and shins get really dry. The Udder Cream is a thicker lotion, which I loved. I would then apply the Moisturizing Lotion to the rest of my body. I made sure to cover legs, arms and even my face. The lotions aren’t greasy so I was happy to be able to do that!

Finally, my favorite part…the Udderly Smooth Foot Cream. This is my new best friend. The foot cream is a really nice thick lotion with a slight scent. For this cream I did something a bit different. I loaded my feet up with it before bed, and slept with socks on. Yes, the socks were a tad soggy by morning…but me feet feel awesome!
